Playlist Thursday – Top 10

run to inspire music playlist

Today’s theme is the top 10 running songs on my iPod, which is obviously going to be pure unadulterated pop music. I will attempt to be honest… although… if you knew the real top 10, you may never return to this blog again.

Something Old

Artist - All Saints.

Title - Never Ever

Sidenote – If you were to go up to any European in their 30′s and say ‘A few questions that I need to know..how you could ever hurt me so..’ they would inevitably reply with ‘I need to know what I done wrong, and how long, it’s been goin’ on‘…’ It has been know for entire pubs on New Year’s Eve to chant the words to this chorus in unison, also doing the spoken word part in a thick london accent is fun. You should try it next time you’re in Blighty.

Something Current

Artist: Jessie & The Toy Boys

Title: – Let’s Get Naughty

Sidenote: This song and in particular this remix is definitely top 5 on my most played work out songs, it’s kinda new. I mean, it has lyrics such as ‘All my ho’s, touch your toes’…. and ‘I really wanna ride your train but I don’t wanna have your baby’. I mean… it’s genius. Also, I used to work with Jessie in her previous incarnation as one third of Shut Up Stella (RIP).

Something To Consider:

ArtistKentö

Title – Complicated

Sidenote – this is a brand new artist that’s just beginning to build up some buzz online. I love the sound of this edgy-pop elector first single. Kento is Brazilian/Japanese, super handsome, and working with uber cool Frankmusic (whose track ‘Do It In The AM’ is also frequently in my top ten).

  3. Great choices!
It’s been FOREVER since I heard All Saints! To be honest I think we’re all a bit ashamed that we bought their cover of Under The Bridge ;)

  4. All Saints is bringing it back…. good one.
Like the energy of the second one.
Third one could easily grow on me…

    Liking your style.
